Walnut
FSC® certified lumber is used.
Walnut has a beautiful grain that is used in many types of high-quality furniture and as decorative material/sliced veneer in artwork. It is known as one of the world's three most precious woods, along with teak and mahogany. Walnut is subject to planned logging in carefully controlled and cultivated forests. The features of this lumber include a rich and dignified appearance with a deep brown color and dense grain patterns. Many years of frequent use will bring about subtle changes in the color that only increase the elegance of the wood.
The Oak
FSC® certified wood is used.
Oak thrives in large forests, and has been used for centuries for furniture and construction material in Europe and North America. It has also been widely used for building ships and barrels for wine and other alcohol. It is called the “King of the Forest”, and is known for its strength and long life. The primary feature of oak is its warmth.
